Allison had a great time on Halloween. We went trick-or-treating to just a few neighbors houses that we know so she could show off her costume. It really only took 2 houses for her to figure out that we walk up to the door and open our bags and they put stuff in. She didn't figure out how to actually say "Trick-or-treat" until we rang the doorbell at home to surprise daddy. Maybe next year.
After that, she stayed up an hour past bedtime handing out candy. She LOVED that. She would get so excited when the kids came to the door and would grab a handful from her bucket and put it in their open bag. She thought it was great, great fun.
She did not get to eat any candy except for the piece that she chewed on the paper of so long that she made a hole in and started sucking out the chocolate.
Peter was a bystander for all of the festivities. But he got to wear his pumpkin costume on Thursday for David's work Halloween party for the kids. Everyone loved seeing him.
All in all, it was a great Halloween.
