I spent last weekend at my parents' house until Tuesday. Saturday my mom came to visit us for the next week or so to celebrate Peter's upcoming birthday.
She's only been here 2 days so far but already we are all enjoying her visit. Allison simply cannot get enough of her and keeps asking for Nana whenever we are out of eyesight of her. It took Peter a bit longer to warm up but once he figured out that she would feed him, he was won over.
Hopefully mom will get to have a nice break from her regular routine and get to enjoy some quality time with the grandkids. It doesn't hurt that she's going to be willing to watch the kids for a few hours so Mr. Brown & I can head out to celebrate his birthday this week too. Boy do we need a date night.
