We were lucky enough to have David's brother's family visit us this past week. They arrived Saturday just in time for dinner and spent one night at our house before heading up to the mountains for little high altitude vacation at a condo owned by some friends of the family. We joined them on Monday morning.
Allison had an awesome time playing with her cousins Ben (9) and Owen (7). And the cousins love Allison & Peter just as much. The four of them had fun building (and knocking down) block towers, playing catch, exploring playgrounds and just generally making merry.
I was lucky enough to have enough down time during naps and our drive there and back to read not one but two entire books I had checked out of the library. What a luxury that was.
We love having visitors and hope all of our friends and family know that you are always welcome to Hotel Brown. What we lack in luxury we make up for in welcome. The only stipulation is that you must be prepared to spend at least a few minutes each day acting as a human jungle gym for Peter.
